Cats. They're clean, independent (don't need to be taken for walks, will find their own food if needed), and still love cuddles with their owner. Granted, they're not gonna save your possessions during a robbery, but who gets robbed in their day to day life anyway?

"clean" My Mom worked at a vet, & she'd always say how they're very dirty. 
Anyways! Dogs are the best. I'd rather have 1 Siberian Husky, instead of any-other/every-other cat, ever.
