George R. R. Martin started his book series "A Song of Ice and Fire" way back in 1996, publishing the first book "A Game of Thrones." After that, "A Clash of Kings" was published in 1998, then came "A Storm of Swords" in 2000, "A Feast for Crows" in 2005 and "A Dance of Dragons" was published in 2011.
As you can see, the time gap between each book has steadily increased, going from two years, two years, five years, then six years. Now, it has been 9 years since the latest book was published and Winds of Winter is still nowhere in sight, and there's even supposed to be a book after that one! ("A Dream of Spring") George is currently 71 years old. Will he be able to finish his story?
But above all else, will I ever finish JV's 24?
