So a week later, and I'm very very close to rank 56, and I should be able to make it by tomorrow. I'm amazed I was able to climb up from 55 so quickly. There's no doubt in my mind that I'll eventually get to rank 60. It's more just a matter of when I'm going to do so. I've noticed some fellow racers have made their way into the 60s. Worry not, for I'll be joining you one day!

you can buy temp tokens with coins, im guessing he had them activated and he hasn't logged in since which is why it still says he is that rank

Journal Entry 3:
With EXP now starting to increase by the millions, I know that the climb will not get any easier. Not that this will deter me. I assure you that I am more than prepared to scale the rank 60 peak. At the pace I'm going, I should be able to make my way to rank 57 within the next 2 weeks. Part of me wishes I hadn't just stopped back in 2018 when college courses started back up, but with that behind me, it's just a matter of picking up the slack. It may take some time before I attain some means of speeding the process up, but I'm coming.
