A bit late I suppose of a response but I need to give ya a shout back! Deciding what you're going into a huge step. If you want to be a film director, all I can say is... GO FOR IT! Now I understand that outside pressures (such as parents, peers...) are quick to judge when it comes to what we want to do. My friend is going to art school in Vancouver B.C Canada and everyone judged her and pulled the whole "Starving artist" scenario. Chase after the dream, not the money! Besides, being a film director is one of the coolest jobs ever. When I was in Scotland I accidentally made a cameo appearance in Trainspotting 2 with Ewan McGregor (actor for Obiwan Kenobi) and talked to some of the cast and workers. It was so cool to watch, even though it seemed so tedious so replay the same scene and film it 10 times.
