Has any attempt been made to upload ranging 2 to steam to bring it back to life with all that steam has to offer?

"It’s unfortunate, trust me. We would all love to see PR2 strive once again, but, saying this from experience, it’s easier said than done.
Jiggmin has expressed disinterest in publishing PR2 to Steam. Though, this has been some time ago"
