United States Sues Apple - LCPD - 21st March 2024
The United States has filed a lawsuit against Apple accusing the company of violating US Anti Trust laws.
Quote:The DOJ alleges that Apple blocks “super” apps, suppresses mobile cloud streaming services, blocks cross-platform messaging apps, limits third-party digital wallets, and even limits how well third-party smartwatches work on its platforms. Some of us may remember around 25 years ago, the US also sued Microsoft for anti trust violations and how that case fell apart in 2001.

I assume this will be good for the consumer if Apple loses, with Apple potentially trying to spin it as a bad thing for the consumer
