How exactly do I get into this? I know of the subreddits and /biz/, but seems sketchy. Is mining still a thing? I got a lot of spare computers lying around, and if I could make money off of running them...

In Invested $500 USD in Robux around November 2017. It's now worth almost $600!

I hope nobody here was dumb enough to invest in the obvious BitConnect ponzi scheme.

Stay away from crypto lending platforms; they're all garbage.

Also, didn't think the crypto market would crash this soon but it makes sense. Everything went up so quick December-January
I'm not quite sure at the moment, but how strong would they have to be? They're old (2000-2008 era).

You won't make anything with hardware that old.

GPU prices are either sold out or highly inflated in price on every market.

RX 580s going for $550+ (MSRP $200), GTX 1070s going for $800+ (MSRP $380), GTX 1080 Tis going for $1300+ (MSRP $700), and so on.

Well that is quite saddening, I must've been lied to. I was told most people use old stuff to mine coins Frown
Looks like its a life of a trader for me~
