Changing grey minimap colour

Yellow (yourself)
(depending on p1,p2,p3,p4)
Green
Blue
Grey
Red



What the colours look like in a normal level with a regular background.

Not terrible, but still a little hard to see

What the colours look like on a level with a darker background

Note that because of the player order, red is in this screenshot but not blue. 

The grey is pretty tough to see. 
This isn't even the worst case because often there will be multiple players on top of the grey colour or blocks more clustered making it even harder.


Point is I need feedback for a new colour. Firstly, do you think a new colour instead of grey is needed?
Secondly, which colour?

magenta looks like a natural choice

I was originally thinking Magenta but then I zoomed out the page to see what it'd be like on regular sized PR2 and white seemed to stand out more

Is the issue that the gray color can't always be seen right away, or that it's not distinct enough from another of the player dot colors?

I'd say that it's distinct from the other colours.. but not distinct enough from the minimap itself so it's hard to spot right away
