Can we have a bit more information on what the map judgement will be based on?

Gameplay? Creativity? Art? Map design? Block placements?

Nah. Just make a good trap map, it doesn't have to be special. I might add themes later, but it's simply "who does it best."

But it completely depends on how you define "good". I personally enjoy originality in maps, and I prefer longer maps to shorter maps.

The one I like best wins... If you put effort into the map it'll show, believe me. If you want to find out how I define "good," search my levels, or think along the lines of: Atomic Galaxy, DangTony98, Axe Warrior, -Ice Dragon-, Shattered Remains, WarpX, -ShadowFax-, and --LMFAO--. All of their maps:
(1) Run smoothly
(2) Have originality
(3) Are "glitch-proofed"
(4) Look pleasant (block placements are justified and/or pretty)
(5) Are consistent
(6) Are fun to play

Well nobody tried out for it, and I was too forgetful to advertise. Might try reopening this in the future though.
