We could potentially skill keep it there's enough interest. Was looking for a redesign since it's currently just a default trophy icon bls found.. it could still be a trophy design though! Plus it's never a bad time to give out some prizes

EDIT: Also I should note, even though this isn't a square icon, I've formatted the SVG such that it is bounded by a square by putting an invisible square behind the icon

I and probably many others think the original trophy icon is the perfect icon to represent the Hall of Fame.
Its simple, minimalistic design makes it suitable for an online forum and PR2.

Would the staff be open to a public poll between this trophy and the winning submission from this contest to decide what actually gets implemented? The small number of submissions means we will have a very limited selection of designs to replace this trophy with, which is not ideal. There should be a final showdown!

I am not against adding the original trophy to the vote. In that case if it does win, the runner up will get the grand prize.

If HoF is meant to be regarded as prestigious or serious in any capacity the role and icon should represent that. That being said, Jiggmin's art has always been goofy to some degree so it's not entirely unreasonable that some of these could be the HoF icon.

It would be nice to have some clarification on what staff intends for HoF to be since staff elected to create it. As far as this thread is concerned anything goes, and I don't know if that falls in line with what I would want HoF to represent. My opinion doesn't matter, but I would hope the current Hall of Famer's opinions are taken into consideration when choosing what is going to appear on their player profiles.
