The Artifact Guide

What is the Artifact?
As some of you may know; the Artifact is an old hand-made stone orginating from ancestors of Antiquity. Joke aside - it is actually the most enigmatic and perplexing feature in Platformracing 2! The Artifact is hiding inside an arbitrary (or notorious) level on Platformracing 2, and it looks just like the picture above. But why is it hiding? Well, it's not really hiding, the truth is; Fred the G. Cactus lost it. Yup, yes, you are reading correctly. Fred the G. Cactus is actually the owner of the Artifact, but somehow he manages to lose it every week. That's why it's our job to find it!!
The Artifact's purpose is to give the players of Platformracing 2 an exciting and cool challenge. It lets you compete with other "Artifact Hunters" in order to be the first one to find it - and obtain it too! But it's far from over after you have obtained it, because that's when the real challenge faces you! (Or not)
Once you obtain the Artifact;
- your LEFT and RIGHT keys will be inverted
- you will be given a continuous speed burst
- the time will be set to 0:30 if the level did not have unlimited time (however if the level did have unlimited time, you will still have unlimited time after obtaining the Artifact)
- the music is set to We Are Loud by Dynamedion
When you have grabbed the Artifact, it's time to race to the goal. When you hit the finish block wearing the artifact, you will recieve;
- 11,111 experience points.
- the exclusive bubble set ONLY if you are the first person to hit the finish block with the Artifact on top of your head!
How do you find it?
Now this is probably one of the biggest questions regarding the Artifact. Let's get right into it!
When Fred the G. Cactus loses his Artifact, he will say something like this in the main chat in the server Derron on Platformracing 2:

This basically means that he has lost the Artifact somewhere on Platformracing 2, and it is your job to find it!! But how? Well, you could always use some helping tools like for example this hangman solver or a crossword solver!
This site is also very cool to use if you want to figure out the username in the Artifact hint.
What do I do if I am not online when Fred the G. Cactus says he has misplaced the artifact? Then you just type "/hint" in the main chat on Platformracing 2. You will then recieve a hint from Fred the G. Cactus.
