Flash games and the future - MoonFiredk - 3rd January 2019

Hello everyone, I hope you have a great holiday  Tongue.

As you maybe know (maybe not) , Then flash games, will have some hard news in 2020. Chrome, Safari and Microsoft Edge, has blocked flash over the past years, but still made it playable for flash games.

But to the point.

Pr2, and a lot of other great flash games, will have hard time in 2020, when the Flash will be removed permanently.

Other flash games making launchers for their games, and as a good example, then Artix Entertainment did the same.

If you think this is lie, then i have some links for information about it :

https://www.cnet.com/news/adobe-kills-flash-web-browser-tech-2020/

The information is very easy to find, so i will find it more simple if you do it on your own Smile.

*I would love this game to survive, so a launcher could save it all!

NOTE: Sorry for bad english :C

Yep, browsers will be dropping support for flash in 2020. That being said, Flash Player won't cease to exist at that time. People seem to forget that downloading the flash player projector will still allow them to play flash files. At such time that browsers drop support for Adobe Flash, I will request permission from Jiggmin to make the PR2 SWF available to download.

Additionally, I might try to port it to a more friendly/modern format. Flash offers some other methods of exporting. Maybe mobile? Who knows. That's also a ways away.

Bottom line: the dropping of support for flash by browsers in 2020 does not necessarily mean the end of PR2.
