Challenge 12: Survivor Hangman

Welcome to Survivor Hangman! The player who successfully solves the puzzle first will win the challenge and advance to the Final 3.

Challenge Rules:

Guessing Letters:

• Players will attempt to uncover the puzzle by guessing letters.
  
• There are no turns. When I post “Post your letter!”, that will officially begin the current guessing round.
  
• The first valid letter posted after “Post your letter!” will count as the official guess.
  
• If you want to guess a letter, you must post it during the active round after I give the signal.
  
• Each player receives 4 total letter guesses for the entire challenge.
  
• Once you have used all 4 letter guesses, you may no longer guess letters.
  

Solving the Puzzle:

• Players may still attempt to solve the puzzle privately after using their letter guesses, as long as they have not already made a solve attempt. (You can guess the answer before you use all your letter guesses, you’re out if you’re wrong, though).
  
• Each player gets 1 private solve attempt.
  
• To make a solve attempt, you must PM me with your answer.
  
• You must clearly state that this is your official solve attempt.
  
• If your solve attempt is incorrect, you are eliminated from the challenge.
  
• Do not submit a solve attempt unless you are 100% confident.
  

Winning the Challenge:

• The first player to correctly solve the puzzle wins individual immunity.
  
• After immunity is awarded, the tribe will move on to the vote and someone will be eliminated.
  

Challenge Start:

• The puzzle will be posted below.

When I post “Post your letter!”, the guessing round will begin. The first player to post a valid letter after that message will have their post count as the official attempt.
I will continue opening additional guessing rounds throughout the challenge.

So there's 4 rounds and we each get 1 letter guess per round? And we post it here? And you DM us if the letter goes in or not and where?

Good questions! Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough.

It’s partly a timing challenge. When I post “Post your letter!” in this thread, all players race to post their letter guess. If you post your letter first, then that is the attempt for the round. Endless rounds until players either use all their attempts or guess correctly. If you don’t get your letter guess in time, it won’t count as an attempt.

A lot of strategy to decide when to try to use your attempts. Fluidity!
