I would have surely thought that they do. It would add more dynamic aspects to the game. For example, automatic gate switches, moving platforms (by having the alien egg stand on several push blocks while the player is rotated orthogonally), and perhaps more!

I think the reason is that alien eggs movement is calculated by everyone's individual games and not sent to the server, so it could lead to desync across clients.
