I'm not sure how to explain this but when I did this the visual rotation of other players didn't change when I rotated and also it lagged really badly but that's some kind of skill issue with flash player and newer processors.

The position of other players only updates when they move. So if they don't move after you rotate, then this will happen.

Note also if the players disconnect/quit they will return to correct rotation before fading out

The way the code works right now, rotation updates require some kind of position/state change to be received from the server to apply for a player on your screen. This may change in the future.
