They were really picky about how their lawn was done so they wanted to include regular lawn services as a part of rent instead of me handling it and also wanted to increase the rent based on market price. All of that considered, though, its still feels like a lot.

We also found out that they would gossip about us to the neighbors who they're friends with, instead of coming to us directly about any issues they had with us.

So I'm actually glad we're out of there

Yup, not uncommon to get above 100F in July/August. And the humidity… man

I live in a cooler state but we went to California during the Winter a couple years ago. It was sweater weather there for me but my family who lives there were wearing winter coats lol

All of this is making me feel lucky my landlord seems pretty cool! although maybe he's also gossiping about me to the neighbors and I just haven't learned yet...

I get the same thing where my fingers go numb in the cold. I would suggest hand warmers

I like our summers actually lol. Summers in southern states are unbearable for me

Mittens are really good for this! Definitely keep the fingers warmer than gloves.

I love spring too, but it does bring a lot more rain and wind than any other season. For that reason alone, autumn is my favorite.

our former neighbors were an old couple who sat outside a lot and dont realize how loud they are, so sometimes we would hear them talking about us lol

what makes you think he's also gossiping about you?
