You can place mines, bricks should be doable with the same mechanic, and they also break!

Anyway, I think it would be cool!

Maybe not bricks... I feel like people would place them in hallways and block the ways.
Crumble blocks might work a bit better.

there are levels with 1 block wide drops, this item could block them up and break them

This has too much potential to break existing levels. Crumble blocks too. Sorry.
