A specific WU's credit (or points) can be checked here.
Many people confuse points with their WU (Work Unit) progress. When you hover over Folding@Home and see xx/xx this is the progress on your WU, and WUs make points (the ones that get you these nifty prizes).

They actually are, depending on what you need the plus 1 for. Might be one stat higher. One rank higher for simming, anything. So they are pretty useful to be honest.

I always thought the rank was to show off how cool we were. xD I guess I was a bit wrong with that one.

If I have a name changed account, do I have to fold the original names account to get my prize? Also, would it fold both accounts since someone has recreated the account the I originally had? Because I can not find my Sir Sp33d for my folding at home but can find my original.
