Yes, because sound is just vibrations in the air. There doesn't need to be people around for that. Just set up a camera and wait for a tree to fall, you'll still hear the sound on the playback video.

Let's say the camera doesn't make a sound. Then, how will you prove that there was sound to begin with, when the tree fell?

The proof is in the logic. Sound doesn't stop existing just because of a lack of witnesses.
