What's your favorite PR2 memory?
#1
Hello PR2 community! I originally joined PR2 in 2008 on Kongergate many years ago, I'm making this post to have a place that people can share old memories like videos and screenshots, Back in the days when we would make yolasites to play PR2 and chat on xat, So to start, I will list below some old videos that i made when i was a teenager. I'm looking forward to seeing the great memories that you guys share from back in the old days of platform racing 2!

This video is the oldest video i have recorded of myself and 2 other friends that no longer play PR2. I ended up losing contact with them from over the years, I wish them the best in life and thank you for the amazing memories that you guys have given me from when i was a kid, I will never forget those nights i would stay up on my moms old computer just to race with you guys!

This video was recorded December 14th of 2009. (Todays date of making this post makes this video 15 years old December 14th of 2024)
me jellyhood and natfan - YouTube

This video is just another random video of me playing platform racing 2 on January 19th of 2010, My spelling in this video is terrible, I was 13 after all though lol

In this video i show off a recreated level i did with color effects of Zerosters level. This level is still playable if you look up my username on PR2 Rca Man.

I recorded this video December 16th of 2015

In this video i'm not the creator of this video but in this video you can see me entering a level on the Mario bros remix level at 0:13 seconds of the video. This video was uploaded to youtube on January 10th of 2010. I believe the original uploader was banned due to cheating on the game, I don't condone cheating but it's a good look at history and seeing how active PR2 was back in the day.

Coming home after school and hopping on my friend's hotel level, then chatting with my friends and going around the level for so long that we'd hit the old time limit a few times

It's difficult to pick a specific memory, so I'll list a few, broad moments. I'm sure I'm missing quite a few.

Xat + Yolasite with Media Player + PR2 + Forum combo. Those days were very fun. Few people I can think of playing with that sort of combo was Tacoman33 and Luis16. I'm sure I'm forgetting a big group of people.

Additionally, playing the campaign back-to-back in prime PR2 years. The excitement of beating Hat Factory for my first time and finally conquering the up/down block line section.

Last thing would be these recent years with PR2. Seeing the dedicated PR2 player base still come back to play and support the game after over 15 years is touching. Plus raising money for charity during streams of the game to give back to those in need. It's been great even if the community is much smaller than it used to be.

Playing on my grandmothers computers for weeks every break I get from school, while on the computers I would create the very pr2 trap maps that I took pride in that stand on my account today

I’m gonna have to say the Xat yolasite days. Being part of teams who shit talked each other and did trap crew battles was such a fun time lol
