This is why we own over 200 physical dvd and blu-ray movies, and digitized them ourselves. We were tired of streaming services pulling the rug from under us. You don't own anything that's digital if they can yank it away at any given moment. People are becoming wiser to this, and we're going to start seeing a rise in physical media again.
Same thing applies with video games. There have been innumerable times where a digital video game gets pulled or becomes inaccessible. The problem here is that they're not even giving gamers the option. Me personally, I'm not risking spending that sort of money on something that I might not keep.
