@bls1999 keep your banhammer close !
EDIT: just a side thought, take it with a grain of salt from my GGP experience, and coming from someone who could frust a bit back in his days, BUT...
The fact that you've pretty much made half this contest WAY OUT of most people's reach is your choice, I respect it, and it's all cool until you decide to participate to grab those conveniently great chosen prizes. Let's be honest, you might have only 2 or 3 people in the whole game, not counting yourself, who can reach 180 points WITH grinding. Not even sure you'll have more than a handfull even getting to 96 points.
What I'm trying to say is, don't make yourself look like a greedish contest host by organising this whole thing for your own profit, and flex your insane skills. I doubt it's your intention to begin with, but it the end you MIGHT eventually give that impression if you set the bar too high. It's a master frust contest, yes, but simply be careful of where you have decided to set the bar (aka extremely high) and what you show by participating. Remember that GGP times were pretty lenient for a reason: accessibility.
Then again it's your call.
I'd put it more at a dozen, honestly, who could reach 180. Besides, those are some really, really big rewards. There are very few ways to get the Artifact Hat. GGP is a grind with what some would argue are unfamiliar stats. CotM requires either amazing artistry AND level design or an expansive knowledge of the history of PR2 levels, either of which are either grinds or simply being a part of the game for years on end.
Honestly, though, the EXP rewards are even bigger. Right now, I'm a 42 + 8 RTs, so rank 50 overall. With all the experience rewards added up -- 35M EXP in total -- that would put me at almost 57 + 8 RTs, so rank 65 overall.
Just like other contests, it should be a grind, so in the end I'm totally fine with this, especially with how massive the prizes are. The EXP prizes justify the difficulty -- in better perspective, 48 points = almost base rank 50, from down at rank 0. That's massive, and as a result I'm fine with that.
