But it's putting my life at high risk, which goes against every fiber of my being. I've been in a car on black ice before, and our car spun out into the other lane. We weren't even driving fast either. If there was oncoming traffic, would I even be here today? Why would I want to work somewhere where they don't care about my basic well being enough to reschedule?
