My whole childhood was a nightmare, I'd rather not get into specific details. But it made me very anxious and difficult to make friends or form relationships. I've always kind of used the internet as an escape from reality. I think I have made some progress as I grew older, but it's still pretty difficult for me to initiate conversations or open up to people.
