I might have mentioned this before in another thread, but I'm not happy with the current state of generative AI; in theory it's fine, but in my opinion the way training data is typically sourced and tagged is at best ethically dubious and at worst totally exploitative.
Ignoring all that, by all means these two tattoos look good (asides from the obvious quirks / issues with the art itself due to being AI generated), although they are conceptually a bit boring. Both roses and compass roses are suuuuper common tattoos (possibly the most common actually, even my father has a rose tattoo and maybe a compass rose too lol). I think they're usually not very interesting or imaginative - they still carry meaning, it's just that meaning gets a bit old when you see the same objects used in the same way to symbolize the same things over and over again. Obviously this isn't necessarily a bad thing though, if people think they look cool (which I guess plenty of people do, since they're so common) then more power to them!
It’s always a pleasure to get your perspective on any form of artwork! It sounds like your strongest point is that they’re AI generated, and yes you’re right… they are. Quite frankly, I think AI is making people extremely lazy, nowadays. If you’ll notice, anyone can pretty much command AI to draw something for them based on their description of what they want. No one really values true, artistic skills anymore. I think we can all agree that before people relied heavily on technology to generate a bunch of 3D images, people gained a comprehensive understanding of how to manipulate art (on paper) in 3D form through its elements.
