What do you guys think about going to the State Fair where you live? I’m fully aware that a lot of you live in different states and countries, so the fair is hosted during different times of the year. Usually when people go to the State Fair, they love to eat, play games, get on rides, and possibly meet new people. However, it seems like every year they fleece you out of extra money for all these things, especially food. For instance… the price of a turkey leg has significantly jumped from $7 (back in the 2000s) to $18 now.
I still enjoy eating turkey legs, but why the hell would anyone pay $18 for it?! These vendors are making a killing off of us because they can. Then there’s the price of parking, which is expensive as hell. How do you guys feel about these prices when you go to the State Fair? Perhaps you’re the exact opposite and would rather stay at home because you don’t like the prices, or being around large crowds… who knows.
