To me at least, SUVs are some of the ugliest cars around. I just like that they're practical. Maybe some kind of hybrid compact / midsize SUV would be good. That said, while SUVs are more spacious and can carry more stuff, their size means they tend to be less fuel efficient and produce more emissions than smaller cars (and right now electric is far from perfect unfortunately). The other issue of course is that bigger cars = more energy in collisions. So I dunno.
In any case, for the time being I'm very happy without a car anyway. I'd only really consider getting one if I absolutely needed one.
