Civil Religion - Noun
Also known as 'civic religion', it is the implicit values of a state and the symbols and practice that go along with it. Includes such things as veneration of past political leaders, veneration of prominent national figures, public rites like ceremonies and parades, sacred symbols like flags and monuments, days of observances marking national developments, and mythology involving the nation itself. May or may not include implicit references to other religions or philosophies.
