Kirin is the Japanese equivalent of the Chinese Qilin. They are legendary creatures, hooved dragon-like chimeras, or overly-simplifying, a "horse dragon" or "Asian unicorn". A popular Japanese beer is named after it.

A Kirin is also a green haired yapping gamer idol
