Yes, it would definitely be a lot more exciting if we had more events related to games. But then the admins don’t even seem to bat an eye anymore. From what I’m seeing, you’re putting in a lot more work than they are. At least you reply to people (which is highly appreciated). They don’t even acknowledge someone’s existence.

People just get busy with life, can't really fault people for not having the time to reply to everything on the public forum.
Eternal and Dangevin have been active in the discord as well as the contact a mod section, you should perhaps join the discord if you haven't already.

I also think that even with events the activity here won't get much of a boost since we've seen that even with the current contests we have that take somewhat of a place on jv via threads they don't get much activity aside from the same 2 users.
@Overbeing had a pretty nice speedrun contest for pr2 not too long ago that was fun and made a small uptick in activity on pr2 and on the discord where a couple of us nerds got to theorize and share our strats on their maps but like I say it didn't boost activity on the forums.

Yeah it’s also really difficult because you don’t see many people engage with each other anymore. Anyways… how are you doing these days, man? I don’t we don’t talk much, but how’s life treating you?

Most of my engagements with the community happen on either pr2 or the jv discord so I guess I don't feel the same lack of engagement that you do with the community. 
I'm doing okay, just similar ups and downs as usual with life. Somewhat recently finally got a confirmed ADHD diagnosis so I've been trying out Elvanse/Vyvanse which surprisingly has been helping out in ways I didn't expect it to.
