I didn't think it was this thread causing the site to break, I thought it was the million pages thread. The bots love hanging out in there for whatever reason.

Probably just because
1. It's usually the top thread
2. Even when it's not the top thread, it's still the biggest thread
If the webcrawlers tried to read this thread for example it'd probably only take a minute
But them trying to go through 1000+ pages takes a lot longer

I wonder if webcrawlers also have a bias towards longer threads in general. Like maybe it assumes that the bigger a thread is the more important it is and the more representative it is of what JV is like.
