The Orville is like Star Trek: The Next Generation, but with Seth MacFarlane humor. In other words, amazing.

@Different
It's funny you mentioned that in your thread about ripping off from an unknown artist, cause I've known about that example of it happening for over a decade: ![]() ![]()

But it's not really Black Eyed Peas' fault, it's David Guetta's fault. He's the one that ripped the track.

This is one of my biggest fears as a music composer and beat-maker. Getting sued by someone for accidentally composing a song that sounds similar to theirs. It's also always a good idea to have a sample cleared, if you know for a fact that you copied someone's song or want to use theirs. WhoSampled.com shows a list of famous artists who sampled songs from back in the 50s, 60s, and so on.

It's funny that they list Robin S - Show Me Love on there. It's debatably one of the most sampled songs of all time. I swear I've heard a song older than Show Me Love that sounded just like it, though I can't recall the name of it.

So really, the composer who remixed the song, shouldn't be concerned because he sampled it. The original composer, however, should be very concerned.

@Mystery Please tell me that this isn't the original composer of this song. Ignore the lyrics, just listen to the melody and chord progressions. I think I may have made something similar to this.

It would be copyright infringement because let's say for example, they didn't get the license to upload that song to a video. Knowing this, it's illegal to upload copyrighted music or even distribute it on Youtube; even if it's for nonprofit use. So, it's definitely copyright infringement. Especially since they didn't even credit the original recording artist in the comments section as proof. They'd need to contact the record company to get permission, first. Then, they'd need to go and get the master recording license.

Because otherwise, there's no way he would be remaining relevant on Youtube for this long. He would have either gotten so many copyright infringement strikes, or get demonetized.

Music can be represented as numbers
All numbers already exist within PI Thus, PI owns the copyright to everything PI about to be rich

Sorry to say, but "does PI contain every possible combination of numbers" is still an open question.
