What up Gaudeo Gang!

The season is truly about to kick off soon. But first, just a quick recap for everyone who doesn’t know how to play:

The goal is to be the last man standing. The Sole Survivor.

We start out on tribes (teams). Win challenges to stay in the game. If your tribe loses, you must go to Tribal Council and vote someone off of your tribe.

At a certain point in the game, we will merge and it will be every person for themselves.

Keep winning, and you’ll be safe. If you cannot win challenges, then the best thing you can do is create alliances with other players to ensure they don’t vote you out. Just don’t be surprised if you get stabbed in the back…

There will be twists, and items in this game to help turn things in your favor. Actually, some goodies are being sent out to players right now, correlating with how selections in the schoolyard pick went…

I got lots of surprises in store, and there will be tough decisions to make. It’s going to be very exciting, and I cannot wait to see how it all plays out!

Challenge #1: Survivor Menu

We’re starting the season off with something a little different. This is a very unique challenge that could have huge ramifications for the game.

Only the tribe captains will be taking part in this challenge. We’re putting a lot on their shoulders to start the season out. And don’t worry, next challenge will be involving everyone, but this is too delicious not to start out the season with. A lot on the line, because the losing tribe could be voting someone out before they even had a chance to participate in a challenge. So there’s a lot on the tribe captains to deliver, oh and to not be greedy…

The Survivor Menu. I’m going to send MrGlad and TheBreeze a secret Survivor Menu. They will have a list of advantages to choose from. Things that could potentially benefit them, or even their fellow tribe mates. Everything on the menu has a point value. The higher the point value, the more greedy it is.

The question is, how greedy are our tribe captains? Will they choose things to just help themselves, or maybe they will try to benefit others?

They both must select something off the Menu. Whoever has the higher point value loses. Regardless, they get to keep the stuff they choose. What they choose will remain a secret, unless it’s something public that everyone will know about such as an immunity necklace.

Here’s the fun part: if they choose the same thing and tie, both tribes will be going to Tribal Council to start out the season.

I won’t reveal the menu, only if the leaders decide to share that info will you know. But, what I will say is the scores.

6 options on menu. Point values of 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 0. Higher the number, higher the greed. Most greed loses. Different items on it for themselves and sometimes others.

The results…

MrGlad ended up with… 10 points. The highest level of greed.

TheBreeze ended up with… 6 points. Somewhere in the middle.

This means that Gaudeo loses the first challenge of the season.

The items selected by MrGlad and TheBreeze are both private selections, so nothing will be revealed on that. Appropriate items chosen will be sent out shortly.

Players on Gaudeo: please PM me who you want to vote off of your tribe. You cannot vote for yourself.

I just wanna say before the vote: it’s great to be back! This is already one of the best casts ever, I am already so impressed with everyone. Thanks for giving me another chance to be able to do this! I am grateful to be able to come back and just have some good ‘ol fun.
