Do you use the terms "alpha" & "beta"?

Do you use those terms when referring to males? If so, why? Thoughts?

Personally, I honestly used to use those terms 3-4 years ago back when I was in the late stages of the phase of figuring myself out, but I grew to stop caring about it.

Only when referring to software. Wink

I believe they're useless labels designed to make people feel superior or inferior to others, and therefore tend to stray from using them.

I do, but not as others do.
I think alpha refers to those people who assume leadership by nature within a group of more passive liking to follow kind of people, this is quite usual.
Issue is when someone tries to be an alpha, when they act like one and force their dominance on others, these people are pure irritating because they must prove a point to themselves and they erode their environment far too well.
While personally i would spend not a single second on a person like that, i generally got nothing against people but their behaviors. If you can see past that you can change, or you might just grow it out like most people who got a conscience.
