I was able to replicate it. It's when you activate a speed burst and then hit a mine. When you recover, you have normal stats even if the burst is still going. You might also have to hit a net block or fall off the map while stunned, but I haven't tested that extensively.
I know exactly how to fix it, the trick is just finding where the code is that controls that event. It shouldn't be too difficult once we get the specifics of the problem.
