I'd like to share my thoughts on this topic. Note that I have virtually no ability to fold, but I will try to be objective.
I personally don't really care about the single rank up for getting Team Jiggmin into the Top 100. A rank up is almost meaningless to most PR2 players, and it's not like we're likely to get there anyway.
Maybe everyone can be Rank 100 for a month with all hats and all parts (including VoM ones) to celebrate getting into the Top 100. That would be way cooler and much more memorable than gaining one rank, and it can temporarily boost PR2 activity.

To the discussion about F@H prizes, it would be nice to reward those who have made an outstanding contribution to Team Jiggmin. However, I don't think adding more prizes to the ladder is the right solution.
Back in the early days, the Cowboy Hat was meant to be the ultimate F@H prize at 100,000 points, but as computer processing power grew exponentially, more prizes needed to be added. That's when we got 5 tokens. Then later, three more tokens were added. And now we're here again, wanting more prizes. It's not a sustainable solution.
Maybe the staff can hand-pick players who have shown exceptional dedication to folding and award a special, one-off prize to those who have folded a huge amount of points, or have been folding for a very long time. I know a single prize might not seem like that much, but I don't think it's reasonable to constantly award prizes. It has to end somewhere.

I'm pretty sure Pay2Win doesn't refer to how some people have more money than others. It's probably got more to do with how things in PR2 can be earned without having to play the game.
The whole point of the contest-exclusive sets is to encourage people to play PR2 and reward those who do well with a unique prize that can't be obtained anywhere else. Allowing these sets to be earned through folding defeats the purpose of the contests.
It reminds me of the time when Divinity's contest, which awarded Epic Upgrades for various hats, was made obsolete by the introduction of Epic Everything.
We already have F@H-exclusive prizes like Rank Tokens (and formerly, Crown and Cowboy Hats) to encourage people to fold, so we should also have PR2-exclusive prizes to encourage people to play PR2.

I can understand how many people don't have as much free time to play PR2 as they used to, but I don't see this as a valid reason to make sets/hats easier to earn. I personally believe that if something is important enough to you, you will find the time for it. Maybe you just prioritize real-life stuff more than unlocking sets in this game.
Keep in mind that other people may not want to invest thousands of dollars in a powerful folding rig, but that doesn't mean we should make permanent Rank Tokens obtainable outside of F@H.
