I see many Japanese people saying increacing tax rate sucks and politicians are doing so.

Tax can be one of your biggest expenses which is why a lot of high income earners move to Dubai where there is no income tax.

As someone who lives in a highly taxed state, it pisses me off anytime an increase or new tax is proposed. One such example is congestion pricing for Manhattan. Like, literally wtf, we already pay tolls to get there, pay more tolls to cross bridges/tunnels into Manhattan and now a new toll to get into lower manhattan? GTFO.

I feel like I am being taxed to death and I dont see the outcome of it. If it wasnt for my current job, I would have given this state the middle finger and left.
