TAS Blog

Hello everyone!

I'm back around these parts. Inspiration has brought be back. I enjoy creating things for PR2, so I will build unique new levels and post more YouTube content.

I'm going to make a lot more TASes for fun levels. I would be grateful if someone could send me the updated Block Editor!

If you have a level for which you'd like to see a TAS made, I'm all ears! Send it over, and I'll create a list. Your suggestions will make this even more fun as I try to optimize your levels!

I'll be avoiding the community Discord servers for reasons I don't wish to discuss publicly, so if you need to contact me, send me a private message here on JV2. I'm happy to answer any questions or discuss PR2 in general.

That's all for now. Take care, everyone!

Hey there! I'm looking forward to checking out TASes you end up making Smile

If you ever get the chance, I'd love to see a TAS of the level Festive Escape by Fred The G. Cactus

Certainly, this level didn't have anything too hard to eyeball so I was able to finish it up in about an hour!

I have more TASes coming. Many of them are short, so I'll be compiling them into one video.

Here's another TAS I finished up today. This is the last and hardest frust I made in the old PR2 frust style, with a unique spin to it. It is inspired by @Dagg's Rage 101.

This level by Magniloquent is iconic, so I decided to make it harder and make a TAS of it! I suggest everyone give the original level a try, it's fantastic!

Flame Frustration by Flame God is one of the most fun frustration levels you can play in PR2. It's a short, tricky level with unexpected twists. If you're ready for a challenge, give this one a try!\

Puzzles II by Astronomer took me a remarkably long time to complete the TAS for, spanning over a whole week to finish. The final product is a satisfying watch, which makes it worth it. This level is described by Magniloquent as "impressively robust for a puzzle map." A description and statement with which I agree whole-heartedly.

Thanks for watching, I hope this improves your day!

Randomly came back to this site to see people are playing a level I made years ago, what an awesome feeling. Happy to see this community still going strong!

After playing most of the frustration levels available in PR2, this is one of the ones that stood out to me as top quality. I always recommend it to players, and you did a great job creating it. I'd be delighted to see more levels created by you in the future.
