He's running a panel for autoimmune diseases to rule out things like arthritis, and said my vitamin D was really low so I'm starting on a prescription dose of it. He said it's most likely the vitamin deficiency because my level was really low.

My previous doctor was like "oh yeah just keep taking your normal vitamins, your blood tests look normal, here's a painkiller to manage the symptoms."
