Thats what hurt Harris and she didnt really have any notable achievements during her time as VP. She was put in charge of the border and see how that turned out. It really just came down as a referendum on the Biden administration which people have described as Jimmy Carters second term.
It's humbling to learn that the majority of people ultimately don't seem to care about anything if they believe they can save a few dollars on eggs. Who cares about things like the environment or the safety and education of children, right? I know not everyone is privileged enough to be in a position where they can worry about anything other than surviving from paycheck to paycheck, which can obviously lead to desperation, but I dunno. It's just frustrating to see. The economy seems to have been improving pretty fast recently too; wages finally seem to have been pretty rapidly recovering from the pandemic. It's really unfortunate that Trump will probably get the credit for fixing the economy when he inherits this next year.
