Well, this is actually disappointing. What exactly is Jiggmin working on at this point? I can't believe you got a one in a million chance to talk to him this way and didn't record it, take notes, or anything. I don't mean to be a debbie downer, but to me this just looks like you made a fleeting interaction with him that included no official announcements or overall payoff. It's not even clear from this if Jiggmin is working on PRF at all. What the heck is Bubble Racing?

Jiggmin can work on whatever the heck he wants, but whatever this was, it's still disappointing. In true Jiggmin fashion, it's been over half a decade since he's spoken sincerely about what he's working on. I'm skeptical. That's just my opinion.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. I respectfully disagree; I believe this call was extremely productive in discussions regarding both v160 and his future plans for Bubble Racing and Platform Racing Forever. To me, this is a great update about his ambitions and priorities moving forward.

Otherwise, he gave me some great advice about my future. We also spoke at length about life and how we're both doing (which ultimately is more important than any game update announcements, as we're both people outside of our online personas too). I will not share the intimate details of these discussions in an effort to protect both his and my privacy.

Look I don't mean to be a pessimist, but how do we know things aren't gonna be more of the same? We've basically heard nothing about PRF for years and now he's dropping this out of the blue without saying much about it. Just seems like the same old Jiggmin not interacting with his community

Pure speculation on my part, but I think it'll be different this time. I think the attention just got overwhelming after a while and he felt pressure to perform to what people wanted him to do, which made him lose his motivation when he couldn't fulfill the ever-mounting expectations. He's returned to game-making on his own time of his own volition. He's also distanced himself from the people asking him "when is _____ gonna happen??" and hasn't set a deadline for himself, which makes me think it'll be easier for him to get motivated.
