Ask yourself this question. Exactly when's the last time we've seen an experience bonus update into the game? Because as of right now, most people are getting an average 1k+ a pop, and if you think about it, that really sucks because it's just simply not enough, right?
It takes Idk how long, just to reach your goals with a minuscule 1k a pop. Why not 2k a pop on average?... 3k, 5k, etc. Let's switch things up a bit to see how people like this idea. Save some CPU energy with 3-5k a pop. Why not help users get to their rank goals, faster?
We've had a lot of updates in the game lately, except for extra experience points, right? If you macro 1k times 30mins (which really excludes the other 30mins because you gain 1k every 2mins), that leaves you with 30k an hour. That's BS because if they're no happy hours all day, or if no one buys any, and if you only spend 10hrs macroing that 30k, that's 300k in one day, which is really nothing if you think about it. Also, if you were getting 2k or 3k, then that would give you 60-90k an hour, without having to worry about happy hours all the time. You see what I mean?
So my proposal is this: Why not update the game to give players at least 3k on average, just to speed up the process? During Happy Hours, this would double it to 6k, every 2mins, saving people CPU time.
Before you dismiss this idea, think about how much CPU energy you're burning off of 1k a pop with hardly no show of consecutive happy hours, and revisit this thread and tell me how long would it take for you to reach your goals. Months? Years?
It's been 8 years since we've seen anything higher than 1-1200k on average, every 2mins. I'm noticing that most macroers are only getting 800k-1m a day, which is really not a lot, now of days. Why not speed the process up and get 2m a day with an exp change?
Or if that's a problem, why not make people work for it through contests or F@H? Your choice. I thought I'd bring this topic up, since no one is discussing it or doing anything about it. Let me know about any disputes that you may have, or maybe you agree. Good idea or bad idea?
In maps where you instantly have a mine going off to lose your hat is there an occational way to escape with cowboy hat. You do not get stunned by the mine going off and for some reason you get about one second of flight without the hat. This allows you to get about 7 or 8 blocks to the left or right and if there is somewhere to suicide to spawn back in the starting block will you have an occational chance to escape with the hat by holding down the up and a side arrow (around 1 in 10 attempts are successful for me). I haven't tested this bug much but i think it might be easier to escape with higher acceleration.
Im new to the forums but have played pr2 actively in 2009 through 2011 with occational revisits to the game after that. I recently started playing again with a friend and we checked out all the old worlds we made as kids and loved it!
What's going on everybody. So, recently I've noticed that a lot of people are starting to rank up past Rank 70 (which is one of my goals that I've made, recently), and was wondering if anyone could at least give me some good sites to macro 4-5 players on, and what do I need to be able to run Pr2, since flash player isn't working anymore. Let me know, thanks!
Alright people, so I've been MIA with new threads lately, due to working on assignments in university as a full-time student. But now that I'm back, I figured I would come up with a thread that should hit pretty hard for a little while. Why am I making this thread? Only because I love competition and truly believe that ties should be broken to reach 1st place. So, mainly this thread is just to see if I can motivate Colind to take one last dive for Rank 81 before making his final exit. I'll be playing devil's advocate to see how things work out with this thread, and yeah, wish me luck. Also, I already got his permission to do this. I want to see if this thread is powerful enough to change his mind. If not, I tried lol.

My man, is it possible that you can make that final push for Rank 81? I know you're done after ranking up your alt's and you want to remain at rank 80 with AlphaZ and fdx3, but think about how great it would be to have an 81 on the horizon 😯 By the time he gets there, you would already be 81 by Spring of next year. Picture this: 81, 76, 75, 75, 75.

Think about this for a minute... are you really gonna be happy with two to three 80s in the game?

If you decide to stop at 80, you're gonna look back one day and say 'damn, why didn't I finish that rank'. By the time you reach your alt's rank goals, your bar will be halfway full. Don't settle for a glass that's halfway full! Why not finish the rest? Be different, @Colind. Be #1. Be the leader. "Just do it!" -Nike

Nah, fam... please don't settle for that. No offense @AlphaZ, just friendly competition 😁
What does it feel like to drop the ball at 80 and settle for a tie?
What's the difference between 80 and 81? The 1, as in #1. Different! Better than most. Don't be the same. You may not care now, but you'll see one day.
I hope I motivated you enough to go for that one last rank @Colind 💪🏼
Mind the grammar and syntax because I copied this from last year's thread and edited it for this year, so there may be some errors.
It is that time of the year (again, pretty late on this). Honestly, my motivation to do this was low, since I have barely paid attention to sports in the past year, but I do enjoy playing this. This is going to be a quick rundown of how this works. A fantasy league is a game where you pick a certain amount of players to form a team and they earn you points. Every week is a match-up between yourself and someone else in the league. The points for each person's team are compiled and whoever has the most wins that match-up. This goes on for about ten weeks, and then the playoffs start where the top teams play each other for the championship (as well as a loser's bracket). Winner of the championship gets to then brag to everyone because they won a virtual game (or win money, but this will be a free league).
Even if you know nothing about the NFL or American football (or detest that the United States has their own form of football and calls the traditional code of football "soccer" (a word created by the English)), it is simply a game of statistics and figuring out who will give you the most points in the week by adjusting the lineup, picking free agents, and managing bye weeks.
The league will be hosted on NFL.com. Currently, it has not been created; I need to get a headcount of who will participate. This league will consist of people from JV and random people. I will make a public league, reserve spots for the interested players, and the rest will be filled with randoms.
Please let me know if you are interested by PM'ing me your email account, so I can send the invite (and subsequently creating an NFL.com account if you have not). Also, I am hoping for creating the league approximately in the upcoming week and holding the draft soon after that (what I have found is the league fills up when the draft is a few hours away), since the first NFL game is 9 September. Always, please let me know if you have any questions. Sorry, this was kind of cobbled together.
More of a note-to-self than anything else. Debug this and add a try/catch block so as not to crash everything. Oh, and also, make sure all art is out of memory after the player quits the level.
