Civilization PR3 |

Ok, since this doesn't really have a forum yet and theres a pr3r subsection, I'm gonna go ahead and make a forum for this. Basically, Civilization PR3 is a game run on PR3 where you get to control a country/empire. You can engage in relations with other countries, have colonies, go to space, wage brutal wars, and more! There is an information spreadsheet here:Ā https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...sp=sharing
While updates aren't always constant, you should expect updates to it atleast every week. I also occasionally introduce "NPC countries" so that theres stuff to compete with. You are always allowed to start out as an NPC. However, please note that if you take the role of a NPC country, you will keep all relations and stuff that nation had. Most of this stuff is explained on the level itself.
There is a discord mostly dedicated to CivPR3 here:Ā https://discord.gg/ZJhVXG9

Why Do People Buy Jeans That Are Already "Faded"/Ripped? |

I never really understood why so many people buy jeans that are "faded," &/or already ripped. I honestly never wear jeans (except for just about a month ago for the first time in at least 5+ years), but if I did, they definitely wouldn't be ripped/faded. I have these sweatpants that can also be shorts, & I love them, but they kinda faded, so when they're as sweatpants (they have a little zipper that you zip to the shorts, if you don't know what I'm talking about), there's definitely a noticeable difference in the color, which I think is kinda unfortunate. Enough about my "JNCO" sweatpants. I just think it's very frivolous to buy jeans that look like they've been used everyday for at least a full year. It's pretty funny how jeans that are already faded (& by "faded," I mean a cheap streak down the jeans to make it look it's been actually faded, even though it looks like someone accidentally spilled very cheap bleach very strategically over the legs), &/or ripped will usually cost more than new jeans. & same with "acid-washed" jeans. This might just be because I'm not from Canada, but I never really cared for them, but I still won't ever judge anyone for wearing them, though. I guess I can see why some people might think that they look cool, but I'd try to wear clothes that will look rather new.Ā
This is kinda irrelevant, but I just feel like I should share this. I think flared pants look amazing. Especially if they have a crease ironed in them. A woman wearing flared pants with a crease ironed into them might just be one of the prettiest, most beautiful, classiest things that I can think of, & I don't even know why/how.Ā
Honestly, I don't even know what I'm prattling about, anymore.Ā
I'll just get back to faded/ripped jeans. I'll sometimes see people who you know can afford the nicest pairs of pants have jeans that you would only expect to see on a homeless person, I just don't get it. I don't understand why so many people will call it a "fashion statement," especially when it's way too popular for it to be one. I really don't know why people would buy jeans that look just like 3rd-generation hand-me-downs.Ā
Sorry for this trivial diatribe, I just seem to prattle about the most inconsequential stuff when I'm bored.

Link to the game:Ā http://pr3.goldtreeservers.net/
Hey guys! I know this is an entire sub forum dedicated to PR3R, but since it was empty, I decided to make a general thread where you can talk about general stuff that doesn't really warrant a new thread. I've also included some info below for any of you who might be out of the loop.
Backstory
After the success of PR2, Jiggmin mistakenly paired with Sparkworkz to make PR3. Jiggmin had done the art for PR1 and PR2, but an artist from Sparkworkz named Nicole Swimley did the art for PR3. Due to server lag and login issues, many people moved back to PR2 or just quit entirely. Jiggmin got married and lost interest in PR3 soon after.Ā SparkworkzĀ shut down, but reached out to Jiggmin to offer full rights over his game, but since he was busy with real life, he didn't respond. About a year later, isokissa3 took the source code and revived the game under his own control.Ā This brought many members and potential for the game to continue onwards. Later, GambitAnimating offered to help with updates and such to make the game better, and isokissa allowed it. After about 2 years of PR3R being up, isokissa was fed up with a certain subset of people, and gave me the mod role so I could help moderate the game. Since then, I've been promoted to admin, and two other mods have joined the team. Gambit, Iso, and I are all still working on some cool stuff, and we hope to see how PR3R can look like in the future.
Staff
Isokissa3: PR3R Founder, Developer, and Server/Database Hoster
GambitAnimating: PR3R Moderator andĀ Developer
Cade642: PR3R Admin, PartĀ Artist, and Developer
Tib: PR3R Moderator and MainĀ Tournament Hoster
Dufl3y: PR3R Moderator
Dangevin: PR3R Campaign Manager
Suuper: PR3R Developer
lp9: PartĀ Artist
CatnipOverdose: Part Artist
Box: Part Artist
What's New?
So, PR3R is actually adding new things! Here's all the new content and features:
- King of the Hat: New game mode where you have to hold a hat for a set amount of time to win.
- Bow: New charged weapon item that has 3 uses and lobs.
- Super Teleport: New item that allows you to teleport 3 blocks instead of 2, just like in PR2.
- Napalm: New item that sets you on fire for as long as shield. Touching other players hurts them.
- Police Hat: Adds 1 extra ammo to laser guns.
- Ushanka: Immunity to wind and ice.
- New sets: Cyborg, Dragon, Spider, Meteor, Donkey, Cheetah.
- New parts: Meme Head, PR3 Hoodie.
- Tournaments: Lobbies with room forĀ infinite players and better prizes.
- New Rating System: Thumbs up and down, instead of aĀ star system.
- Ability to kick and ban members from your lobby as the host.
- A ping counter.
- Ingame login system.
- More consistent water physics.
- Heart Block: Heals you in deathmatches just like in PR2.
- Reflector Blocks: Reflect bullets in a set direction.
- Weak Blocks: Slowly crumble as you stand on them.
- Glass Blocks: Weak on top, and reflector on sides.
- Code Blocks: Blocks that give you the ability to do a lot of different things, including changing damage values, referencing other blocks, checking for the players' hats, and setting variables.
- Checkpoint Blocks: Blocks that override safe blocksĀ to make safetyĀ nets more interesting.
- Custom Stat Blocks: Change the amount of each stat that a block gives.
- Buttons and Reactor Blocks: Pressing Buttons shatters correlating Reactors.
- Editor Convenience Tools: Hold shift to place, delete, and move huge sections of a map. Copy and paste sections in the same way.Ā Use shift to draw lines with the paint tool. Middle mouse click to select a block.
- Block Categories: Categorize your blocks to save yourselfĀ time.
- Ability to set the deathmatch starting health.
- Ability to set theĀ vanish timer.
That's it! Stay tuned to this thread for PR3 news and events. There's also one on Acid, so check that one for things you might miss.

What is the main reason for the "2" in the url? |

Just curious for the reason why it couldn't be simply jiggmin.com; does Jiggmin still own that address? Someone else own it and can't give it away? Staff decision?Ā
If sometime in the future, though I have no idea how this stuff works,Ā I think it would be nice to get rid of the 2. I get that we're not the "official" JV site, but I think "jiggmin2" is less visible to old members that have no idea of this website existing.

I Finna make a game |

I've decided to throw aside my good friend Gamemaker: Studio ProfessionalĀ thisĀ time. Sorry old pal, but I want to learn the hardcore basics of coding, real coding, with real universal languages. I understand I've used GameMaker for hundreds (yes literally) of games I've made before but It's time to try to step forward,Ā GMX is great, and there's a lot you can do with it, but I can't seem to ever figure our the Multiplayer or the 3D. And, I don't want to pay for add-ons anymore.Ā
Alright guys, why post this public? Well, I know some of you know a thing or two about coding and all that neeeerd stuff. I have some experience myself, such as the time I made the card game "War" when I was very young with Python. That was the first game I ever made by my self. Yes, it is a super simple game that took me like 3 lines of code to make but hey, I was like 5. (Maybe not but the lower I make my age the more like a Genius I sound).
Has anyone here ever made a game from scratch ( No, not Scratch⢠the free online tool, that's even lower down the line) but from code? This is something I really want to learn how to do, without the aid of GameMaker Drag and Drop assistance. What should I use?Ā
My goal in the end, which may be long to come, is to make a Multiplayer game.Ā
Seat belts everyone!

Despite the fact that absolutely every single post of mine since I've joined here has been in an obviously facetious/cavalier manner, I would feel rather amiss if I didn't make a post regarding this topic: Feelings/Emotions.
I realize that what I'm about to say will make me appear a bit stoic, but I just wanted to express how I feel about "feelings." I just don't understand why (or even how) some people can care so much about such trivial, insipid, smarmy diatribes. Emotions are one of the biggest weaknesses that I can think of. Now, don't get me wrong, negative thinking is bad, but I just feel the need to reiterate how feelings just lead to inevitable pain. I'm very adamant on denying any, & all culpability, too. That way, it'll be even easier to escape reality, while still unscathed. You can't trust anyone, as 97.5%+ of everyone, & everything has at least one ulterior motive for absolutely anything, & everything that they've ever done, & ever will do.
I fully support "hiding" your (emotional, & physical, as showing pain/emotions can be considered as a weakness, & will attract "predators," if that makes any sense), I've been relatively successful on internalizing my "pain" from nearly everyone who I know, & it's not difficult. Anyone who disagrees is just being obtuse. I only have just about 3 - 5 (at the very most) friends who I feel like I could actually be myself without feeling the need to put up a front, & hide all of my feelings/emotions, which I'm content with. I'd rather only have a small amount of good friends who I feel like I could actually trust, instead of having a large amount of "friends." & again, I'm not trying to say that everyone should stop having feelings/emotions, that is definitely not what I'm trying to say; I'm just trying to say that people who have such easy access to them are (unfortunately) way more vulnerable to predators (such as psychopaths, sociopaths, &/or sadists) who like to prey upon potentially easy targets. Now, don't think that I'm "emotionless," as I can cry like the rest of anyone/everyone else. I cry at least just once a year, maybe, which is/should be way more than enough to validate my humanity.
"Your thoughts lead to your feelings; your feelings lead to your actions; your actions leads to your results." Most of those "results" seem to be from acting on impulse, which essentially leads to ineluctable regret, which is unfortunate. This brings us to my original point; feelings seem to never be worth it.
Whenever I try to put forth a valid argument with empirical data to further prove my precision, people just shrug it off as me trying to be "edgy," when all I'm trying to do is politely, yet firmly inform them that having a substantial amount of feelings can, & will subsequently lead to immediate regret. Which brings me to my ultimate point; feelings/emotions are nothing but trouble.
It isn't my honor, but definitely my duty to insincerely "apologize" for this protracted vent.
I hope this little "rant" hasn't been depressing, or anything like that. I just wanted to share the fact that this can all potentially be avoided with positive thinking. My point is, I anticipate seeing everyone in a jovial mood. The amount of idiocy that I run into outside of the internet is just astonishing, & it leaves me, literally, speechless. & that's another reason to why I actually don't go outside too much.
If this was too long for you to read. Long stories get short, you just gotta learn stuff through denial, & error. Learn that it's all about supply, & command. It's all about survival of the fitness, & that it's just the oval of life. A link is only as long as your longest strong chain, & not to judge a cover of a book by it's look. I don't have enough people words to make it understand you the way it understands me, but it doesn't take rocket appliances to come to the sudden understanding/realization that positive thinking can be potentially better than marginalizing substantially serious topics if you don't let your feelings get in the way of everything.
