UPDATED FOLDING GUIDE
Hey Team Jiggmin
I figured I'd make this guide because I find myself quite often answering questions about folding, and people not knowing how to find resources or confused why they aren't getting as many points as they should. Before Jumping In: Is Your Setup Ready? Check yourself before you wreck yourself..
First things first. To maximize your contribution and efficiency, check your GPU's performance at https://folding.lar.systems/gpu_ppd/overall_ranks. This step helps you understand your potential points per day (PPD) and sets realistic expectations for your folding adventure.
Step 1: Download and Install Folding@home
- Head over to https://foldingathome.org and click "Start folding."
- Download the installer suited for your OS and follow the installation steps.
Step 2: Secure Your Effort with a Passkey
- Secure a passkey https://apps.foldingathome.org/getpasskey. You'll need to input your email address.
- Why a passkey? It authenticates your work, ensuring you receive bonus points after your first 10 work units, boosting your points significantly.
- Check your bonus eligibility and stats at https://apps.foldingathome.org/bonus.
Step 3: Configure Your Folding@home
- Launch Folding@home and access the "Configure" settings.
- In the "Identity" tab, enter your preferred username and team number 143016 for Team Jiggmin.
- Insert your passkey correctly.
Step 4: Optimize Your Setup
- Under "Configure," find the "Slots" tab.
- Remove the CPU slot to prioritize GPU folding, which is often more efficient.
Step 5: Begin Folding!
- With everything set, close the settings and start folding. Your contributions now support vital research through Team Jiggmin.
Important: Recieving PR2 Prizes
- Log-out Requirement:** Ensure you're logged out to receive your PR2 prizes.
- Update Frequency: Prize updates may lag by a few hours, so patience is appreciated.
- Track Your Contributions: Visit https://stats.foldingathome.org/donor for the LATEST on your points and rank.
Prizes for Your Contributions (ok we all know this is why you came here)
As you accumulate points, you unlock various prizes:
- 1 Point: +1 rank token (Total: +1)
- 500 Points: +1 rank token (Total: +2)
- 1,000 Points: +1 rank token (Total: +3)
- 5,000 Points: Crown Hat
- 100,000 Points: Cowboy Hat
- 500,000 Points: Epic Crown Hat
- 1,000,000 Points: +1 rank token (Total: +4)
- 5,000,000 Points: Epic Cowboy Hat
- 10,000,000 Points: +1 rank token (Total: +5)
- 25,000,000 Points: +1 rank token (Total: +6)
- 50,000,000 Points: +1 rank token (Total: +7)
- 100,000,000 Points: +1 rank token (Total: +8)

Hello everybody!
Published a new massive-puzzle level, very different from what some of you are used to seeing in my previous levels (The "Scape Square" ones).
I decided to give a PRIZE for the FIRST person to pass ALL the HOFs that the new level contains
I'll buy a game on steam to the person who wins it, for a value of 30 euros, or less.
(only ONE game that the person decides to buy)
To clarify some points:
- It's a SURVIVAL puzzle map, so that means that you can "die" and lose on this level which make it harder than it used to be on those previous levels.
- There are different HOFs that must be passed to get this prize. All of them are different so you'll need to play the level several times.
- It's a SOLO map (1Pl), but i've allowed that two players are able to play together, BUT NO HOF will be accepted if you play it with someone else, except the Bronze HOF.
- ART (probably with lossless art) must be activated if you want to pass the level.
- VIDEO (recording) will be neccesary, of each time you pass a different HOF. You can't edit the video to cut parts etc, but of course you can divide it in some parts if it's faster for you to upload them all. You can use x 1.25 or x1.5 speed when editing the video. Only youtube link allowed.
- When you have the link, send that to me to my discord. Not to my PR2 username because i barely look at it. I'm on the Jiggmin discord group. My discord is: " Jvcold "
- Everytime you join to the level, you have to write on chat this text: ex: "HOF Silver" to make me know WHICH HOF you are facing. Remember to do this just to make it clear for me. Not doing this would cancel the validation of this point.
- The level has been tested by @~JBG~ and me. It shouldn't be a lot of bugs / skip-glitches etc... If you skip-glitch/ bug the level, it wont count that you have won the level (aka the HOF), so careful while doing this.
More information can be found by clicking on the " ? " from my level in PR2 to know how to face every HOF.
My user in PR2 is: " J m i "
My discord user is: " jvcold "
Regards!

PR2 Level ID Creation Date Guide |

I'm interested in being able to find out the date that a level's ID was created. We are able to see the last time a level was updated, but I'd like to see the day it made as well. I always feel bad when I update a really old level because I lose that old Last Updated date and will have a less good idea of when it was published. I've started compiling a list of levels of levels to compare to.
Here is a link to the spreadsheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...sp=sharing
It is free for everyone to edit. The more levels we add, the more accurate it will be.
Please only add levels that are Version 1. That way it is likely that they were published the same day that the ID was made.
The way I found my first batch of levels, is I searched PR2 for levels with the name Run, then sorted by Plays Ascending, then looked for levels that are version 1 to add.
If you want to use it to date your own levels, please create a copy of it instead of editing the main sheet.
I plan on making a copy of the sheet, then adding each of my levels name and ID, then sorting the sheet by Column A Alphabetically. I should be able to get a good estimate once I have added enough levels to compare to.
Let me know if you have any questions or ideas on how to make this better, and thanks in advance to anyone who ends up helping to make it more accurate.
(You can find a level's ID by first clicking the ? Symbol of a level, then clicking the Green Arrow in the bottom left corner that says Share Level. It'll then show you something like this: [level=1040780]LOL RUN'S MAP[/level] by lol run. I have made this level's ID Bold.)
