Some little suggestions for the PR2 Level Editor

1. Password not disclosed when loading level
Show the password when loading a level.
The password is shown when you modify it, so why shouldn't it show when loading a level?
It can be useful when you forget the password to a level and you want to find out what it is without re-publishing the level.

2. Allow the Delete tool to be accessed with the CTRL key at all times
Activate the Delete tool when CTRL is pressed without needing to select a block/object first.
Using the CTRL key is much quicker and easier than the other methods of deletion.

Given that changing tabs removes the selected block/object, this can be slightly annoying if you wish to delete some things after switching tabs.

The Delete tool is also quite painful to use. You can accidentally delete blocks while moving the player spawn points, and deselecting the tool is unintuitive. Maybe clicking the Delete tool again or pressing and releasing CTRL should deselect it.

3. Scrollable panel triggers OCD
The scrollable panel on the right only holds 8.85 items. It would be nice if the buttons were spaced closer so that 9 items can fit.

The janitor must have missed a few spots, because there are some little bugs running around creating a mess in the Level Editor.

1. Background Color not getting set when loading a level
When you open Level Editor and load a level, the background color selector does not reflect the color applied to the level.
Clicking on the color selector and pressing Cancel applies the selected color.

2. Layer filter incorrectly applied when loading a level
Selecting a certain layer (e.g. Blocks, Art 1, Art 2 etc.) applies a filter to reduce the visibility of objects that are not in the selected layer.
If you select a tab from Art 00 to Art 3 and then select either the BG or Settings tab before loading a level, the BG/Settings tab will be selected, but the filter from the prior tab will be applied.

Example:
    1. Select Art 2 tab
    2. Select Settings tab
    3. Load level
Expected: The Settings tab is selected and all objects are fully visible.
Actual: The Settings tab is selected, but only Art 2 objects are shown with full visibility.

3. Random music option is not selected by default
The music selector just shows a random song when you open it instead of being pre-set to the Random option.
Selecting the same option as the one that is shown does not apply it.
But saving the level still saves the music as Random.

I managed to learn how to do something with ImageMagick and FFmpeg but not quite enough.

It pretty much involves you getting hurt and possibly humiliated for a suitcase full of one million dollars, then posted on Youtube, LIVE. I can tell you right now, that your options are pretty nasty, which means that you don't have a choice.

Situation: You're homeless with no money, no skills, no nothing. All of a sudden, someone offers you a chance to be famous for one million dollars. Everything is legit and 100% verified that you'll get the money. Whatever you choose is dependent upon your health status. Remember, you don't have a choice, really. This guy is the only one willing to help you, but it's a bitter-sweet, deal.

From the client, the only way to know that there is a PR2 affiliated Discord Server is by doing /community in the chat. This can cause users to overlook that there is even one available. I've been trying to think of various ways to incorporate a Discord invite hyperlink into the client. I want this to be bold enough for new/returning users to notice it and click on it, but discrete enough so it's not a glaring eyesore. Any suggestions?


My thoughts would be to enable a global popup on login that says "Welcome back to Platform Racing 2..... more words more words..... Please join us at the community Discord! (Insert Discord link here)" and give the option to acknowledge the message and to turn off to never see again.
