Add guild backups |

This is basically just a note to self, but anyone is welcome to comment.
Sort of like level backups... but for accidental guild deletions by mods.
As it stands right now, the only way to recover a guild is to do it via a database backup (Jiggmin). In order for guild backups to become a thing, these things would need to happen:
- Upon guild deletion, take a list of the user ids in the guild so they can be restored to that guild if the guild is restored
- Make new backups db on the s3 server
- Change all the level backup functions to reflect guild info and not level info

Campaign of the Month |

Welcome to Campaign of the Month: JV's original Campaign designing contest!
Note: Campaigns that win will be put into the game!
They'll remain in the game from the time the winner of one cycle is picked until the next one is picked.
Here's how it works:
- 1st until the 14th of the month: Submissions will take place based on the theme (if applicable)
- 15th until the end of the month: Judges will play and vote on the campaigns submitted
(When a new month starts, a new round of submissions will start.)
There are two ways to win prizes...
- Level: if your level is in a winning campaign*, you'll earn the Armor Set (+epic) and 5 CotM points!
- Campaign: if your Campaign ends up winning**, you'll earn the Thief Hat (+epic) and 10 CotM points!
* You can only win 10 CotM points per round based purely on levels (if you get more than two levels in the winning campaign, you'll only get 10 points). Additionally, you will only earn the level prize if you were the original creator of the map that is in Campaign (level copying won't earn you any points).
** The staff and/or judging teams reserve the right to reject or overturn any winning Campaign for any reason.
Collecting a bunch of CotM points can also earn you some rad prizes...
- 15 CotM Points: Propeller Hat (+epic)
- 30 CotM Points: Crown Hat (+epic)
- 45 CotM Points: Cowboy Hat (+epic)
- 60 CotM Points: Artifact (+epic)
Contest Status
The contest is currently in round #43.
Submission is currently closed.
Voting is currently open!
Voting closes and round #44 starts on February 4, 2022.
Judging
We'll mostly have public voting threads; if there's an active one, it'll be listed above. In the event that we don't, we currently have five people that will judge the submissions. They are:
- @bls1999 (Host)
- @Eternal (Co-Host)
- @Shane1334
- @Justinbob100
- @Emeiry
FAQs
Q: Can I add my own levels to my Campaign?
A: Of course! Any level that is public on PR2 is eligible to be in a Campaign. Just make sure they adhere to the PR2 rules and fit your theme, if applicable.
Q: Where do I post my Campaign?
A: When submissions are open, you'll be able to submit your Campaign on the thread dedicated to CotM submissions for that round. Don't post Campaigns in this thread!
Q: How many Campaigns can I submit per month?
A: One. Multiple submissions will disqualify you. This includes making alternate accounts.
Q: When will the winner be announced?
A: Most likely, the winner will be announced sometime in the final three days of the month. On rare occasions, we'll need more time to judge and take an extra day or two; however, for the most part, we'll try to stick to the monthly schedule.
Q: When this contest was called Campaign of the Fortnight, there was a new theme every round. What happened to that?
A: After a while, we realized that it makes more sense to let users give their own Campaigns a theme instead of making everyone's Campaigns revolve around one theme. We may still have rounds with one theme every now and then, but for the most part, users will choose their own themes.
Q: I have tons of PR2 accounts; Can I get CotM points from the levels on my alt account?
A: CotM points are tied to your PR2 username, not your JV username. This means that if I make a level on both bls1999 and bis1999, and they both are in a winning campaign, then both accounts will be awarded 5 CotM points. This is because the admins don't want to run into more issues with account verification than we already do. If you would like to donate your CotM points to another PR2 user, let me know and then send the PR2 account "CotM Official" a PM from the account that has the points. Note: this can only be done for one week after the winner of the round is announced, or at the discretion of the contest host (me).
Happy Campaigning!

Add filters when viewing guilds. |

I thought it might be a good idea to have filters when you go inside of a guild. Filters could be similar to the pr2 online list where you can sort by hats, and rank. But it would also be cool to sort by GP and who's online aswell. For me this would be really good because in my guild alone I have a lot of accs and it's hard to find them sometimes. currently I have three guilds to try to resolve this but it's a pain if I wanted to buy a private server or something.
/guild ~My accs~
/guild Gods Of Stunt
/guild 0 and Crown

POLL: Server Restart Perks |

Lately, I've had an influx of inquiries about why people are being turned into cactuses when a server restarts. When I've explained why this happens, some express their displeasure at the inconvenience.
I'd like to ask the community: do you want the Fred parts on server startup to be disabled, leaving just the happy hour?

PRDTA World Cup 2018 |

So basically reposting this from the other forums:
Platform Racing Deathmatch Tournament Association is organizing a deathmatch World Cup for PR3 in 2018.
It will be a 3v3 tournament consisting of nations. If a team cannot get 3 players, they can play as a smaller team handicap. Back-up players are also allowed (up to a maximum of 5). Before the actual tournament, friendlies will also be organized. You must be from the specific nationality to participate. Certain levels will be used for deathmatches, and a country will
be picked to host the World Cup.
Qualifiers will take place! It is required that each team has a member to make a deathmatch level to play home games, just following these simple rules:
1. The deathmatch level cannot have half of it rigged for the home team.
2. It cannot be too small or too big.
3. It should have as many item blocks as possible.
4. When placing start points for the team, the team must all start together, not spaced out.
5. The deathmatch level may not be a troll level.
6. The PRDTA has recognized that the amount of lives each team must have per player is 6.
Important news! We have made the rule that if a team with let's say 3 players shows up against a team with 1 or 2 players, then the match will have to be re-balanced, so the team with 3 players can only use 1 player if the other team has just 1 player. Unless the smaller team agrees to play more people, this is how it will be.
If you would like to join you can PM masteric on PR3, the forums or post here on this thread. You must be in the Discord to participate. Discord link is below.
If posting here, provide nationality and PR3 username. Thank you!
Current Sign-Up Sheet at this point:
1. Croatia [Guest aka RacerToni] 1/3
2. Poland [superguy0173] 1/3
3. Italy [Tib] 1/3
4. Spain [Tungster] 1/3
5. United States [FlashRock25] 1/3
6. Argentina [Tobi66677 and Logan66677] 2/3
7. United Kingdom [ThePizzaEater1000] 1/3
Scoring: 3 points for a win, no points for a loss. If, somehow, both teams die at the same time (it is possible) then a draw will be awarded and 1 point to both teams. If there was a group stage for example and two teams had 3 points each, then the team with the better margin of victory would be ahead (e.g. team with 6 lives left defeating team is better than a team with 3 lives left defeating a team) If a team with, let's say, 2 members alive wins, then the lives of those 2 members is the average for margin of victory (e.g. Player 1 with one life left and Player 2 with three lives left after defeating another team, their margin of victory is two lives).
