If you don't do anything else, read this thread and leave a comment because I can promise you that you're not going to get anything even remotely close to this on JV. If you're tired of lurking around reading the same ole crap from other threads, then please read this. Everybody can relate to this.
Do you ever feel like you can't even breathe, or your anxiety is so overwhelming that you feel like you're going to faint? Or even worse... you feel like you're going to die! Your blood pressure is running sky-high, you've got sweat glands dripping through your legs, you're shaking in fear, and you can't even move! Just imagine some asshole used to make your life so miserable that you go through life loathing yourself because you're constantly wondering what you did wrong. No one taught you how to defend yourself, so when the feeling of being completely helpless takes over, you freeze up like a coward and accept the ass whoopin' because you're overthinking all the factors of what might happen if you fight back.
![[Image: KW9Eisk.jpg]](https://i.imgur.com/KW9Eisk.jpg)
Just imagine asking your crush out on a date for the first time, but no one ever taught you how to do so or even teach you about how relationships work. So your subconscious mind plants a dark seed, deep within you so you'll grow up being traumatized with overthinking simplistic things too much, or you develop a lack of confidence with talking to girls. You begin to do strange things like stalking her waiting for the perfect moment to ask her out, stare at her all day hoping she'll make the first move, or you sit still like a tree and do nothing because your heart is racing so fast that you can't even think straight.
![[Image: kU9j1NF.gif]](https://i.imgur.com/kU9j1NF.gif)
Or even worse: you think she's too hot and way out of your league to ask out on a date. So, every time she's in your presence, you say something totally dumb leading her to think you're retarded. Then just when you thought it couldn't get worse, you end up wetting yourself in front of her because your childhood trauma overpowered you so much, that you couldn't even think straight; so embarrassing! So then, she walks away and finds a man that outclasses you in every way possible, while you tuck your tail between your legs going home loathing yourself even more because you took a huge L on this one, especially during adulthood. All this can cause you to grow up being a virgin who's never kissed a girl before. You see, it's so easy to place the blame on all these other factors except for ourselves.
This can be related to self-doubt where you're constantly questioning whether you're even good enough for relationships in the first place. Friends and family are constantly questioning why you're still single, or your parents keep harassing you about grandchildren. THE GRIPS OF DEATH comes in where you're stressed out and pressured over doing something that's completely out of your comfort zone, so you feel like there's no space to breathe around people who don't even understand where you're coming from; they think you're strange.
![[Image: hy9dQYE.jpg]](https://i.imgur.com/hy9dQYE.jpg)
Going through this kind of thing (or anything else) can be a nightmare because your childhood trauma can prevent you from doing something that's normal to everybody else, so you completely isolate yourself from the public feeling overshadowed by people who make the things that you can't do, look so smooth. Or how about becoming an introvert because you're afraid of what others might think of you.
Now, I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with being an introvert, nor am I saying that that's the only reason why people become one in the first place. But, what I am saying is that there is a strong possibility that some people do suffer from some horrendous, childhood trauma circumstances, which could possibly be one of the reasons why they choose to become an introvert. For example, you might have heard someone tell you that you're a piece of shit who'll never seek relationships, find any friends because you're not good enough, lose weight, or even grow a set and fight your demons because you're a pussy to them, right? Hearing that all your life can cause major problems when you grow up. One of those problems can be quite suicidal!
![[Image: VL8tzZz.jpg]](https://i.imgur.com/VL8tzZz.jpg)
I can't breathe! I can't breathe! I can't breathe! The demons got those massive, baseball glove hands wrapped around your throat, constantly squeezing the life out of you every time you even think about trying something out of your comfort zone. The more you try to fight back, the more you end up getting your ass kicked, every time. Someone or something stepped up to the plate and challenged you for once. Your conscious mind is thinking, "hell yeah, let's do this!" Your subconscious mind is thinking, "you better sit your ass down! Don't be a fool!" At that moment, a substantial amount of anxiety juices up and runs through your veins like black venom. Your demons are feeding off that delicious fear building massive amounts of energy and making you miss out on massive opportunities in life. Then you'll be an old man or old woman thinking, "damn it, why didn't I just go for it!"
![[Image: qrWT0mr.jpg]](https://i.imgur.com/qrWT0mr.jpg)
How about if you're one of those goofballs who's injured themselves in the shower, or you've injured yourself in a way that's way too embarrassing to discuss with anyone. So when confronted about it, you then shrug it off and say that it's a sports-related injury to maintain your manliness and avoid losing testosterone because you want to be one of the boys who gets girls all the time. If the truth ever came out, you would be labeled all kinds of colorful names based on your personality alone.
![[Image: 1Svo7Um.gif]](https://i.imgur.com/1Svo7Um.gif)
Everyone is laughing at you, so you begin to avoid tolerating these things, ending up clinically depressed and lonely because you've got this tight grip around your throat that revolves around personal issues. Even at night, you can't sleep and you're caught in sleep paralysis where your nightmares are playing out your childhood traumas like a tape recorder. You try to scream for help, but there's no one around to save you because you can barely breathe or speak.
If you've ever suffered from one of these horrendous, childhood traumas before, then you know just what I'm talking about. It plays out in our lives almost everyday. Just the feeling of being completely helpless, or you see someone being abused or crying, and you can't do anything about it because you're too apprehensive of what might happen to you. Your conscious mind is saying, "get up and do something about it, dummy!" The demons are saying, "shut the hell up, coward! Stay out of people's business because you're too weak and spineless for this fight!" The demons will attack your subconscious mind because that's ultimately the boss of your daily decisions.
All these childhood trauma circumstances can lead you into thinking that you really are a piece of shit who's an NPC (non-playable character). So then you start making mistakes somewhere in life, and then people begin to make fun of you. Once that happens, you'll probably become a drug addict, an alcoholic, or find some sort of addiction to ease the pain and trauma because you feel like there's no other solution after walking in total darkness.
Don't be afraid to open up and share your childhood trauma circumstances on this thread. I've had one before where I was very uncomfortable with public speaking. As I got older, I grew extremely exhausted of it, so I decided to take public speaking classes to deal with it.
I noticed there's way too many threads on JV related to Pr2, but they don't last very long because they're not really IRL debatable topics.

PR2 Art Tips |

I learned to do art growing up here on PR2. I even used some printouts of drawings I did here to apply for my middle school's advanced art class, and got in!Ā I have never been good at drawing from my head, I've always been a referencial artist. And yes, a lot of the things I've drawn on levels are easily findable on google images (this was a scandal of sorts back in the day). I think referencing images is a great way to amp up your own levels. We aren't profiting off of our levels, it is just for us and we are publishing levels, not artwork. The art is just a part of the level. Which leads me to my first tip.
Find a reference! My level had an empty space that could use a nice drawing, so I searched for the right reference. I found this gem.
Ā ![[Image: lemon.PNG?ex=659a613a&is=6587ec3a&hm=af9...y=lossless]](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/528696365199523851/1180788223954391080/lemon.PNG?ex=659a613a&is=6587ec3a&hm=af969e1c7c06b5ea6df1b71c77a88f55368386c849575f9257811db83f26a9b7&=&format=webp&quality=lossless)
It is perfect for my level, so now I just need to draw it. Luckily, the composition is pretty easy, otherwise I'd need this next step.
Trace! Tracing is taboo with art, but I think it should only really be taboo for art students. art students should be learning to draw from sight. We are not art students, we are Platform Racers! Back in the day, for a complex drawing, I'd print out a photo of what I wanted to draw and tape it to my computer screen, then trace an outline to start with. If I were to do that now, I'd use a transparent overlay of the image to trace it.
Color Picking! We are very blessed today with the updated color picker. Gone are the days when we only had the 150 colors to choose from. But what a lot of people didn't realize back then, is that you could paste in color hexcodes to bring in way more colors. Now our color picker is much better, we have everything we need. almost.
Back in the day, Clairehof gave me some tips. She would upload her reference into paint and use the eyeĀ dropper tool to get the hexcodes of the colors in the reference, then paste them into the PR2 color picker. That was revolutionary for me.
Now, I have an eyedropper extention on my browser, so I'll take a few samples from my reference and post them in a note's page and label them so I can come back and find the same color again later. I'll take a sample for the main color, the shadow color, and the highlight color. Now I just need to put the colors where they go. It is a make you own paint by number.
The first thing I did after getting that tip from Clairehof was this:
![[Image: dfri2sy-b2c74295-cff1-4932-9bd8-dae12a77...hmPmuOs8zM]](https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca887773594c2.wixmp.com/f/fe81a72f-3a08-4a65-ba22-e96ecb260966/dfri2sy-b2c74295-cff1-4932-9bd8-dae12a774d00.jpg?token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJzdWIiOiJ1cm46YXBwOjdlMGQxODg5ODIyNjQzNzNhNWYwZDQxNWVhMGQyNmUwIiwiaXNzIjoidXJuOmFwcDo3ZTBkMTg4OTgyMjY0MzczYTVmMGQ0MTVlYTBkMjZlMCIsIm9iaiI6W1t7InBhdGgiOiJcL2ZcL2ZlODFhNzJmLTNhMDgtNGE2NS1iYTIyLWU5NmVjYjI2MDk2NlwvZGZyaTJzeS1iMmM3NDI5NS1jZmYxLTQ5MzItOWJkOC1kYWUxMmE3NzRkMDAuanBnIn1dXSwiYXVkIjpbInVybjpzZXJ2aWNlOmZpbGUuZG93bmxvYWQiXX0.Psi505dQo0k5hp8MxZ_7fDjv5ogu1hzxGhmPmuOs8zM)
I found an image I liked. I traced it. I got the exact colors from the reference, and painted them where they went in PR2.
Another thing I'll do when I'm not exactly drawing something, but just decorating, is I'll look up a color palette and adjust colors from there. By starting with a color palette, I know that all of the colors I use are going to look good together.
![[Image: b29dd6c65ccc4923147a4cf29623e243.jpg]](https://i.pinimg.com/564x/b2/9d/d6/b29dd6c65ccc4923147a4cf29623e243.jpg)
Be aware and careful with the Atmospheric Effect in the game. The color you have as the background will effect the colors in the layers. Especially layers 2 and 3. In my drawing of the Lemon, I drew it when I had a neutral gray background, but at the end, I changed it to be brown/orange. This made the Lemon look more orange than it used to because it is being effected by the background color. When drawing in farther back layers, I'll still use an eyedrop tool to get the color, but I'll use the ingame color picker to raise the intensity of the color so it has more pop when I use it.
Let me know if you have any questions. A part 2 is possible, and I may need to expain some things more clearly. I am also horrible at spelling, so there is that too.

+3 Rank Token
5,000 Points - Crown Hat
100,000 Points - Cowboy Hat
Let me take you all back in time in a galaxy far far away from today, which just happens to be over 14 years ago when F@H was FIRST introduced to the JV community. This was around the time when most of everybody were just kids in grade school. None of you guys had ever heard of F@H before, nor did you give a shit about it until Jiggmin began to introduce 2, really cool prizes.
Let me get something straight with you guys, upfront: Yes, the CROWN and COWBOY hats suck, nowadays. But back then??!... Oh boy! You Gen-Zs have no clue how insanely popular those two hats were back in the day because you were all too young to even remember. Even your very first, +3 rank was very special back then because if you were a smart player, you would wait until you reached rank 47 to use it so that you can get ahead in the game, very quickly. Back in 2009 you didn't have to worry about people taking advantage of folding you 1k because F@H was fairly new and they didn't know how to work the system, yet. Oh and FYI, a passkey doesn't protect you from getting folded.
So considering all this, you were around @bls1999 generation of kids who were probably in elementary school and wasn't aware of hardly any of this. Most of everybody who did remember, were Millennials like me. The roster back then was stacked and overpopulated by Millennials who were in High school and Middle school.
Man, if you had a crown hat, you were pretty much considered to be a high-class, ranking player from a special elite force. You were literally the man! Everybody wanted a crown hat because it was very special. With the crown hat, you were literally an invincible warrior crushing your opponents to death with supernatural powers making toy swords, guns, lasers, and mines look like a complete joke. You didn't really give a damn about how many people thought it was unfair to play with someone who had a crown hat because you had something that they didn't. You folded 5k to earn the right to separate yourself from everybody else who was stuck on 4 hats.
Now, if you had a cowboy hat, you were considered to be the top 5% of high-class, ranking players from a special elite force because you had supernatural powers to pretty much fly where ever you wanted to go!... Anywhere! You were like a pilot taking off whenever the 3 count was over with. Yes, it was highly unfair in campaign modes, but who gives a damn because you worked hard for that shit! 100k for this bad boy was an insane, stratospheric number back then. Which leads me to my second point...
...Nowadays, 5k & 100k for these two hats is essentially nothing, right? But back then, how many people do you know were complaining and begging people (who had those hats) to fold them all the time? 100k for a cowboy hat was nothing to sniff at, ladies and gentlemen. Even 5k for a crown hat was a lot, back then. I didn't get my first crown hat until 2011, then a cowboy hat in 2012. I didn't give a damn about F@H, nor did I ever have the money to invest into a pretty decent graphics card that would allow me to get these things.
I believe 100k for a cowboy hat back in 2009, for it's historical value, is probably worth 1,000 times more today which is worth 100,000,000 points, now. With crown, this was 5k at it's historical value back then, so 5,000,000 points today (never mind the epic stuff).
Now the graphics cards that everybody had back then, was very ABYSMAL because if I recall correctly, people were folding at least 100-1,000 PPD back then. Nowadays, people would laugh and shit on you for folding those minuscule numbers. But back then, everyone shared the same grind and passion to get the two most, baddest hats in the game. So, it was not a hysterical matter back then. People would overclock their CPUs just to speed the process up because for some people, it would take months to get a cowboy hat, which was very ABYSMAL! This is why most people would stop after obtaining the crown hat; that's a 95k difference between the crown and cowboy hats.
If you'll take a look at THIS list of graphics cards, you all might is well find yourselves at the very bottom of this list because that's what you guys all had, back then. What also sucked was the fact that we had to ask our parents to help us figure out this F@H stuff because it was a nightmare. You didn't have the money to invest in a better graphics card because A: You were a kid with no job back in grade school. B: A lot of those graphics cards probably didn't even exist back then, so you had to work with what you had, you feel me?
Let's assume that at least 300 people were playing back in 2009, right? I'd say about 5% of them had cowboy hats (the way I remember it), and about 15% of them had crown hats. Do you realize how appalling those numbers were back then? Think about it.

1,000 Points - +3 Rank Token
5,000 Points - Crown Hat
100,000 Points - Cowboy Hat
1,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
10,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
Fast forward 4+ years later, and early 2013 would be the birth of the +4 and +5 rank tokens on the higher end of the F@H scale. Around this time period, you'd have guys like Deathbygabe1, NixZiZ, Dylan Ray Dubuisson, and PrinceCharming who would already be far ahead of everyone else, having these 2 extra rank tokens. If I recall correctly, only those 4 guys had +5 at the birth of the rank tokens giving them the advantage well ahead of everyone else. I'd say less than 20 had a +4 because if you really think about it, people were done folding after 100k because there was no reason to keep folding back then, unless you were supporting Team Jiggmin.
The credit for these two tokens goes to @aaaaaa123456789 for the suggestion. Now let's dissect the amount of time it would take someone to reach these two, very special tokens back then. First off, 1m points for a +4 rank token used to be preposterous. I mean damn, how the hell am I going to sit there and have the discipline to fold 900k more??! You see nowadays, a +4 rank token is nothing because everyone has their fancy, graphics cards that deals out substantially high, PPD numbers in the millions. But back then, let's look at your graphics card, then tell me how long it would take for you to get a +4 rank token. The majority of people were folding much less than 100k back then, so the idea of folding 1m is preposterous in a nutshell.
Don't even get me started on a +5 rank token. 10m just to get there is not only preposterous, but very intimidating and time intensive to say the least. I can't even begin to tell you how very few people had the capabilities to even see a +5 rank token in their accounts back then. Let me say that again... very few people had the capabilities to even see a +5 rank token back then. The stretch from 1m-10m is an understatement. But the stretch from 100k-10m is far from an understatement. I don't think you people understand how big of a deal, a +5 rank token was back then. I didn't even see my first, +4 until Oct 2013... and my first, +5 until Jan 2016!
Guys like Deathbygabe1 was folding 500k PPD back then, which was nothing to him. As time went on, people began to invest into better graphics cards, eventually. So you could expect them to get between 150k-300k PPD, starting in 2014.
![[Image: tnbf7J1.png]](https://i.imgur.com/tnbf7J1.png)
1,000 Points - +3 Rank Token
5,000 Points - Crown Hat
100,000 Points - Cowboy Hat
1,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
10,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
25,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
50,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
100,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
5 years later, @XeNo makes a suggestion that there should be 3 more EXTRA RANK TOKENS because the top folders have already reached their +5 goals, and since people were debating about having Team Jiggmin reach the top 100 goal, they had to incentivize people to fold by offering more prizes. After people were constantly debating about adding more prizes into the game for the last 2 years, @bls1999 decided to make it happen as part of a STIMULUS PACKAGE.
So now, let's analyze these 3 extra rank tokens, shall we. First off, if you're not used to folding a substantial amount of PPD, then you're going to think that 25m is preposterous because the gap between a +5 and +6 is extremely high. During COVID, you already knew that guys like Deathbygabe1, PrinceCharming, NixZiZ, & Dylan Ray Dubuisson would already have these rank tokens because their F@H scores were extremely high enough to last a good while. So, most of them got all the tokens before we ever did.
Around the COVID era, you can expect those who were hungry to get their ranks a lot higher than they are, to revisit THIS list of graphics cards, then save their money to buy GEFORCE RTX graphics cards because those were rewarding them with substantially high numbers in the millions. Now let's face it, those guys have never folded 1m points before in their lives, back then. What guys? - THESE guys, the top 3 highest ranks in the game. So really, 25m is still nothing to sniff at. The same thing can be said about 50m and 100m because it's far too time intensive for those who's graphics cards deal out less than 1m. Also, some people don't run their CPUs full time, which can also be a problem because it'll take you forever.
Then the bar gets stretched even higher than that, when you go to 50m, then 100m. Bottomline: the higher the bar gets stretched, the more you're overclocking your CPU running it hot, full time, to get to where you need to be, quickly. Nowadays, if you're one of those GEFORCE RTX graphics card owners who folds millions of PPD, then these numbers probably don't mean shit to you, now. But, back then, I'd imagine your first impressions were "oh shit, how the hell am I going to pull this one off? My graphics card can only do like 300-500k PPD, which is nothing compared to this!"
The higher you elevate your game and improve your materials, the less you'll care about anything under 1m because you're used to doing that. Some people are still humble today, but back then everybody was.
![[Image: tnbf7J1.png]](https://i.imgur.com/tnbf7J1.png)
1 Point - +1 rank token
500 Points - +1 rank token
1,000 Points - +1 rank token
5,000 Points - Crown Hat
100,000 Points - Cowboy Hat
500,000 Points - Epic Crown Hat
1,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
5,000,000 Points - Epic Cowboy Hat
10,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
25,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
50,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
100,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
250,000,000 Points - Epic Artifact Hat
500,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
1,000,000,000 Points - +1 rank token
So now, here we are. Notice anything new? No? Well, let me point out to you that I've added 3 more suggestions towards the bottom of this list. Why? - Because there are a bunch of people who have busted their asses off for TEAM JIGGMIN to get past 250m. I think there should be an award for those people, especially reaching 1B F@H points. I understand that these people are trying to support Team Jiggmin and get them towards the Top 100 list, but unless those last 3 prizes are added in the game, you'll probably never see that anytime soon.
I think it's time THIS thread gets updated to my last, 3 suggestions because I know I'm not the only one who THINKS this way.
My advice: If you're looking to fold very quickly, then not only should you overclock your CPU and run F@H full time, you should also go out and invest your hard earned money into getting a GEFORCE RTX 4090. Yes, they're very expensive and can cost around 4k. But, if you ever get one of these, then you're looking to earn about 21m PPD. For those who would be freshly starting out, it would take you roughly 50 days just to reach 1B points! So yeah, I'd say it's worth the money in that sense.
FUN FACT: If Deathbygabe1 would have never stopped folding, and he invested in a GEFORCE RTX 4090, he'd probably be at 10B F@H points by now.

PR2 Challenges with Rewards v2 (2024) |

with it being a couple of years since my idea of PR2 Challenges and how everyone perceived it, i've decided to create an updated 2024 version of the idea. i would like everyone to discuss what ideas they have for the challenges so we can get some challenges set in stone.Ā
more uses for theĀ Group Badges idea
ever think about earnable Group Badges? well, in the challenge tab, there would be an option for those. in this idea i have, i am thinking of having the Group feature get more use out of. how about custom group badge icons that you can earn through the challenge system. when i first made the idea for the challenges, i was stuck on what prizes we would receive, but with having a badge icon that you can earn ( some will be harder to get as well as mysterious on how to receive them.) I also would like other contests to have these as well, cotm would have a sick badge for 60 points. Racing events would be a cool contest ribbon for participating and for the winners. T&E would have one for 180 points, etc...
here is an updated look for what the challenges would look like in the star tab right next to the saved loadout button...

after linking your JV/Discord jv server account to pr2 it would look like this ingame:
i also was thinking about if everyone would think the best option for where the challenges would be located at would be in a tab next to the favorite levels area as a star tab, a whole page for more space to put the challenge info at.

If we work together as a community, do most of the work for him,Ā all he has to do isĀ his magic coding stuff instead of all of the other stuff, it will be easier for him.
so, step 1, lets get the ideas for the challenges set in stone.
Main Campaign missions
like in every video game, we have a starting quests for playing the game, this would be for a brand new account to see what pr2 is for the first time.
classic campaign missions:
Complete newbieland 2
Complete newbieland 2 1:30 or under
send a message in main chat.
hat acquired. - get 1 hat
Rank up! - achieve rank 1
Complete Mario Bros remix v.1.3(time atttack)
Complete Mario Bros remix v.1.3(time attack) under 1:30
Daily Challenges
smash 100 brick blocks in campaigns
swim a distance ofĀ 6.43738 kilometers in water
beat Zerostar(- -) by zerostar(oO) (76127) while the beebody is equippedĀ
Weekly Challenges
win a race with the stats 50 - 50 - 50 (or in tournament server)
Monthly Challenges
9000000 exp in all time best
obtain the artifact in 3Ā different levels
feature a level in weekly best 3 different times
win 1st place inĀ 300 races with 2+Ā other players
[ Any of the GGP levels and required times to beat as a challenge for the month ]
lets all think about what challenges we can come up with together to make the challenges as a community!Ā
Ā
Step 2: Ideas for the rewards.
Badges
Badge for completing all daily challenge for a month straight! (return of the overdrive award??)
Play in a race with Jiggmin (i know this is a old thing, but would have been cool to see back in the day.)
Spend money in the VoM (to show appreciation i guess xD)
have every part in the game (i am still lacking the gecko and dog set c: )
a F@H badge... (MultipleĀ for milestones?)
badge for finally getting rank 15 (now ready to play the final level of the campaigns)
winning a contest on jv ( each would be exclusive for which ever contest you won, some harder to aquire than others)Ā
MYSTERIOUS BADGES (unknown ?????????????)
what ideas for badges do you guys have? ill add more as i can come up with them.
ExperienceĀ points
100 - 500 per each easy challenge
600 - 1000 per each harder challenge
1100 - 10000 for each expert challenge (depending on how time consuming and difficult)Ā
what do you guys think the exp rewards should be for the challenges?
Free VoMĀ
Super Boosters
( instead of one time per day Super Booster, why not have aĀ quanity of them, and can use as many times as they want? )
an Epic part of choice, (Epic part token of some sort) - would be earned with hard challenges as a reward
( Via Epic Everything, you could choose what epic part you would like to acquire with earning a Epic Part Token )
Jiggmin Coins are earnable through challenges, so you would be able to get anything from the store, as long as they have enough jiggmin coins. (Not sure if you would like to change the price for the items if this becomes a thing)

Do you think that Karen got what she deserved, or was he in the wrong for escalating a situation from bad to worse by assaulting her? The first video is where you really want to see the action. Personally, these damn Karens make me sick as hell.

Everybody has heard of the WWE before, including you. You just happen to be a huge fan who's been watching wrestling for years now, and decided that one day you'd like to do this for a living.
Well if you fast forward to today - you've done all the training, you look like an action figure because you've busted your ass off at the gym, and you've already contacted NXT and did some training for a while. So now, you get a phone call from Vince McMahon offering you a CONTRACT to get signed into the WWE. Your salary for now is 250k annually. If everything goes well, then about a year later or so, you'll get signed to a long-term contract potentially worth millions of dollars annually.
Basically to break down the business: you'd do house shows, cut promos on live TV, work with a gimmick that they give you temporarily, & do ring work rehearsals where you're being told what to do in the ring before everybody gets to the arena.
Let's say that my wrestling gimmick is a @Camer the Dragon for an example. You take that gimmick, make the best out of it, and work your magic as a baby face (the good guy), or a heel (the bad guy).
That contract sounds really good, but just how badly do you wanna be a WWE superstar for $250k annually, assuming you're in the main events at some point?
PROS: The beauty of the WWE is that if you get over in the business, fans are wanting your autographs, you can sell a lot of merchandise, attendĀ special events, end up on video games, become a toy action figure, etc. All these things, you can profit off of. The adrenaline rush that you get from the crowd is highly remarkable when you wrestle in the ring. Just imagine becoming the WWE champion.
CONS: If you really think about it, these pro wrestlers are risking their bodies every night getting slammed down on the Matt really hard, their shoulders are being thrown towards turnbuckles, they're skulls are getting cracked with steel chairs (including their backs), they're getting slammed through tables, thrown off ladders, thrown through barricades, announcer tables, slammed on the concrete floor, and they're losing BLOOD, occasionally. You see, this is a very brutal job that takes a huge toll on your body once you step through those ropes. Even though some things are choreographed, a lot of this stuff looks real and probably really did happen.
When it's all over, you pack your bags and drive your rental car back to your hotel. Oh and, did I mention that you'd be traveling over 250 days a year wrestling in different towns from different states? I forgot?... Well, there you go. Not only are you doing that, but you're paying for your own hotel, car rentals, travel, and you're responsible for any other living expenses.
Now if you'd like to know how wrestlers BLEED, hear about their lives outside the WWE, DRUG & ALCOHOL issues, and STEROID use, then please check out the links below. So now that you have somewhat of a comprehensive idea of how the WWE operates, how would you like to become a WWE superstar and make millions of dollars on TV?
